Pesa is registered and regulated in Canada by the Financial Transactions and Report Analysis Centre of Canada as a Money Service Business (RN: M20300281). Additionally, it holds registration in the United States with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) as a Money Service Business (RN: 31000231722151), ensuring compliance with financial regulations in these jurisdictions.

Service Offerings:

Pesa offers a range of digital financial services for immigrants, including borderless transfers, multi-currency wallets, and limited banking services. Notably, the Virtual Naira Wallet has gained popularity among Nigerian immigrants in Canada.

Investors:

Pesa is said to have garnered over 5000 immigrant customers in Canada within a year of its inception,  processing transactions exceeding $15 million CAD. They led a susscessful expansion to over 40 countries and introduction of multi-currency capabilities like CAD, INR, NGN, PHP, GBP, GHS, KES, UGX, XOF, XAF, and EUR. They do not seem to have any investors at the moment.
